Makes 2 large pies
Ingredients:
2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp mace (or 1/2 tsp nutmeg)
5 eggs, beaten
1 28oz can Pumpkin
2 cup milk (or 1 cup milk & 1 cup cream)
2 tbsp oil
Method:
Mix brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, and mace (or nutmeg). Stir in eggs. Add pumpkin and stir until even. Stir in milk/cream.
Divide the mix into 2 and pour into 2 pie shells.
Bake at 450°F for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°F and bake an additional 25 minutes or until crust is well browned.
