Cabbage Roll Casserole


1 lb lean ground beef
2 onions chopped
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
garlic powder to taste
3 c. to 6 c. coarsely chopped cabbage
1 10oz can tomato soup
1 c. water
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp. rice


1. Brown ground beef and drain excess fat. Add onions, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce and cook until golden.
2. Stir in soup, water and rice. Place cabbage in casserole. Pour meat mixture over cabbage. Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hour at 325 degrees.

Optional: Add grated cheese during last five minutes of cooking.
