Deep Dish Ham Pot Pie


2 cups cubed ham

1 can cream-of-chicken condensed soup

1/2 cup hash brown potatoes

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

pepper to taste

2 cups frozen mixed vegetables

2 frozen pie shells


Cook mixed vegetables in boiling water for 2 minutes. Rinse in cold water and drain. Combine with soup and pepper, and set aside. Sprinkle 1/2 of cheese in bottom of pie shell. Top with ham, potatoes, and remainder of cheese. Pour soup mixture over.

Cover with second pie shell. Seal and flute the edges. Cut steam vents in top. Bake at 400°F for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
