Mississippi Mud


Bottom Crust:

1/4 lb margarine (1 block)

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour

2 tsp. cold water

1/2 cup chopped walnuts (if desired)

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes (hairline cracks will form)

 

Mix:

1 pkg (250grams) cream cheese

1 tsp. vanilla

1 cup cool whip

1 cup icing sugar

Cream cheese, add remaining ingredients, and beat together. Spread carefully over crust.

 

Mix together 2 pkg instant chocolate pudding. Let set for 5 min. Pour over cheese mixture.

Add Cool Whip to cover. Sprinkle with chocolate chips (if desired).
